To whom it may concern,

Simon Munro was the main building contractor responsible for the construction of a new dwelling and separate self contained studio and garage unit at 66 Seacliffe Avenue, Milford. Given the fact that there was minimal Architectural supervision, I was most pleased to see the quality and craftsmanship of the end result. The project was a complex one, built on an existing gun emplacement perched on a cliff site, it required challenging engineering and rigorous architectural detailing. The height to boundary indicators came within 20mm of the adjacent site boundaries so there was no room for error. The methods of construction - the use of interspan and unispan flooring with reinforced blockwork and steel structural framework – contributed to the complexity of the project. Simon and his team successfully completed the building work in a professional and competent manner. It is a credit to Simon and his team that the end product was a top quality, high end residence that delighted the client, featuring on the cover of ‘Houses’ magazine 2006. Simon and his team applied exacting standards to this project, their attention to detail and finish was a refreshing sign of builders taking great pride in their work. Please do not hesitate to call me to discuss any questions or queries you might have regarding this project.
Regards
